I specialize in health plans not just health insurance. A good plan has health insurance because you have to pay for the hospital, the surgeon, the Doctor and the prescriptions. And you need that. However I also need to make sure that I have you protected and that we take care of your deductible, your coinsurance your co-pays, your experimental treatments, and god forbid you don't survive, we want to make sure your kids can still go to college, and your spouse gets to stay in your home. With any health insurance you are going to have out of pocket expenses. Correct? We want to make sure those items don't affect you. According to 2 independent studies by the AMA and Harvard 62% of bankruptcies last year were medically related which probably doesn't surprise you does it? I tell you what did surprise me in that study. 78% of those people had health insurance. But they didn't have anything to cover their out of pocket expenses and we need to take care of some of those expenses as well. What most people forget about health insurance is that if they get sick or hurt they still have a mortgage, car payment, utility bills and grocery bills. I'm going to help make sure we help take care of those items as well because it does you no good to pay the hospital and still go bankrupt. Wouldn't you agree?
